A TV station in Ontario, Canada accidentally aired a hardcore gay adult film during the morning newscast last Friday, a mistake that is being blamed on cable feed transmission issues.
The TV station released an apology, of course, network news director Mike Katrycz explaining, "apparently some cable lines had been cut, and in the splicing back together some inappropriate content went to air ... again it was beyond the control of CHCH, but we do apologize to our viewers."
The problem occurred when the cable feed transmitting a signal to CHCH crossed with a feed transmitting a signal to an adult film channel. It lasted for about three minutes.
