Angry Birds Fake Installs Malware On Your Android Phone

Real punishment for wasting away your brain power.

Angry Birds Space, the latest iteration of the popular time-waster, isn’t exactly what it seems for some users. According to All Things D, a bootleg version of the Android port has been floating around, with the full game on offer—as well as malware, which installs on your phone as you play. Hackers can then have full control of your Android device, even directing the browser to any website without your permission. The only way to completely avoid the hack is to download the game from the Google Play market, where the official version exclusively lives.
