If you've stopped by Amazon.com recently, you may have noticed the site's gotten a facelift. The massive online retailer has been quietly pushing out a redesigned version of its web store after some limited initial testing last fall.

The new Amazon lets in a lot more white space and was designed to be touch-friendly for tablet viewing. You'll notice the side menu is now much more responsive and you can cycle through departments simply by hovering over them. There are also large new buttons for your account, shopping cart and wish list in the upper-right-hand corner.

Aside from the new look, the nuts and bolts of the site remain unchanged. To get lost in the Kindle maker's endless catacombs, you know where to go.
