Ran through his list of bangers as well as an extremely well-played Dilla tribute that spoke to Detroit like only a Detroit artist could deliver. Sharp show, and a great opening set by Philly's own Chill Moody & J Pinder as well. Rap is more than the radio, and tonight was proof.

I feel terrible when a great party has to close down. I also hate the fact that more often than not it's a traffic issue. Then, as soon as the final party is announced, the people who haven't been supportive enough to help the party stay open wanna come pay their last respects like it's a funeral. I've been torn up about that for years now. Still, it was an honor to be rocking alongside my mans Omega Whatts, Rev Shines, and the indomitable Maseo AKA Plug 3 of De La Soul. Maseo is such a great dude, and Lady Connie and The Fix crew are always a supremely class act. I got on the mic and personally declared that they should not close the party to deafening applause, but I believe their mind is made up, unfortunately. Bless up to The Fix for 5 years of non stop rocking outside the box with absolutely no Top 40 programming. Big, big, big Respect, family, and here's to a reincarnation, reunion, or at least a blunt and a meal between us all real soon!
