Talk about Murphy's Law.

An on-duty NYPD cop crashed his car after a fund-raising party for slain officer Peter Figoski in an apparent case of drunk driving. Christopher Morris, 31, was busted for suspicion of DUI after refusing a Breathalyzer at about 5 a.m. Tuesday morning.

A source told the Daily News that Morris "got pretty bombed" at the event, and was placed on desk duty when everyone realized how twisted he was. Still, he managed to navigate a marked cruiser back to the function shortly after.

Morris crashed that marked cruiser into a pole, just blocks away from the Lindenwood Diner where the party was held. The pole fell onto another vehicle, but no injuries were reported. Meanwhile, Internal Affairs is looking at security cam footage to see if any other on-duty cops in attendance.

Morris has been suspended without pay, and two NYPD supervisors have been placed on desk duty in the wake of this debacle.
