Imagine if instead of your phone ringing, beeping, or loudly vibrating, you just felt a tiny sensation on your skin. It doesn't sound very appealing to us, but Nokia believes in the idea enough to file a patent for the idea.
According to UnwiredView.com, Nokia filed a patent for a cell phone alert system that would send vibrations to a magnetic tattoo on the user. That tattoo would employ magnets made of materials ranging from iron to rarer, more powerful elements like neodymium. The user, in theory, could program the phone to send different alerts to the tattoo depending on the type of message comes to the phone.
Would you get a magnetic tattoo that connects to your phone? Read more at the UnwiredView.com.
