"Fibble Flick Rock 'N' Roll" Is Crytek's Unfortunately Titled First Smartphone Game

It's not "Crysis," but it does star an orange blob-thing.

Crytek is normally synonymous with high production values, incredible graphics and first person shooters like Crysis 2, not iOS games starring orange blobs engaged with physics puzzles in your fridge. Yet that's the direction they're going in their first game ever for smartphones, Fibble Flick Rock 'N' Roll.

Don't get us wrong, we're not writing this game off by any means. The screenshots look good, and Crytek certainly knows what to do with physics in games (although Fibble reportedly won't use a version of CryEngine). The game was only announced yesterday at GDC, and we'd certainly like to see more of it.

Check out a rather useless teaser trailer down below and let us know what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
