Federal agents managed to pick off two shipments of marijuana intended for the New York City offices of St. Martin’s Press, one of the largest publishers in the country. The packages contained more than 11 pounds (5 kilos) of weed, and were sent from San Diego. They never made it out of Cali though, as postal workers immediately noticed that smell.

Mailing labels show that the parcels were sent by the fictional San Diego firm “ABT Books.” After securing a warrant, the green was found packed under paper towels, Styrofoam and, dryer sheets.

The packages were addressed to “Karen Wright,” yet another fictitious name. The drugs could be worth up to $70,000 on the street, but the feds don’t seem to be interested in figuring out who “Karen Wright” is.

Whoever used the guise was definitely looking to traffic that shit.
