Ubisoft has rolled out its line of collectors edition sets for Assassin's Creed III in Europe. There will be three different special editions. All three sets come with extra missions for the single-player campaign, and have some items that aren't included in any other set.

The most expansive (and expensive) version, is the "Freedom Edition". For £79.99 or £59.99 on PC, ACIII fanatics will get:

  • A 9-inch Connor figurine
  • Steelbook case
  • George Washington's notebook
  • Exclusive lithograph
  • "Lost Mayan Ruins" single-player mission involving exploration of a Mayan pyramid and Captain Kidd's cutlass
  • "Ghost of War" single-player mission including Pontiac's War Club weapon
  • "Sharpshooter" multiplayer package including a new character, Sharpshooter weapon, one relic, one emblem, one special picture and "The Jester" title

Not into figurines? For £64.99 (£34.99 on PC), "Join or Die Edition" includes almost everything from the "Freedom Edition", minus the figurine and the Lithograph. More specifically, it includes the "Ghost of War" mission, the "Sharpshooter" multiplayer package, George Washington's notebook, and one thing not in the "Freedom Edition", an Assassin's medallion.

Lastly, there's a plain old "Special Edition", which comes with a singler-player mission called "a dangerous secret" where players will help fight a threat to the funding for the war effort, as well as an "exclusive" flintlock musket.

We've reached out Ubisoft to see if these sets are coming stateside and, if so, how much they'll cost.
