Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) today, its first Android Ice Cream Sandwich-powered tablet coupled with its own Touchwiz UI, for release in March.

Its small frame is most striking—a seven-inch screen and weight of .75 pounds, about half that of an iPad 2—as is its pricetag of $350. A 1.0 GHz dual-core processor will power the device, compared to the 1.2 GHz dual core of its spiritual predecessor, the Tab 7.0 Plus. It’s also slated to have 3G and come in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB iterations.
