It looks like Netflix is marching ahead with its next original series— a new comedy/drama called Orange Is The New Black from Jenji Kohan, the creator of Weeds.

Bloomberg confirms the company has ordered 13 episodes of the series to development via Lionsgate, news of which was first rumored last November.

Orange Is The New Black will be the second completely original series developed by Netflix, following the Kevin Spacey vehicle House of Cards, which it won in a bidding war with HBO and AMC last year. The online distributor also has exclusive distribution rights in the U.S. to two other series, including Lilyhammer, which is already streaming, and the 4th season of Arrested Development, which is still in the pipeline.

Orange Is The New Black is based on the novel of the same name and centers around a communications executive who serves a year in prison on drug charges.
