If you are one of the many Star Wars fans out there that feels like Darth Maul got the shaft in The Phantom Menace then you'll be pleased to know that the inked-up Sith Lord is making a comeback in the March 9 episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

His appearance is just part of a larger four-part season finale that begins during tonight’s episode, which features Count Dooku attempting to destroy his would-be assassin, Asajj Ventress. At the same time, General Grievous launches an attack on Maul’s homeworld of Dathomir. This leads Maul’s brother to attempt to find his resurrected kin in order to stop the bloodshed.

It’s still unknown how the show’s writers will explain Maul’s survival, but that doesn’t make us any less excited to see him fire up his double-bladed lightsaber so he can get some revenge on the man that sliced him in half, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The Clone Wars airs on Cartoon Network every Friday at 8pm ET/PT.
