Valve's unlocked a new avenue for players to get into the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta: fill out a survey on Steam, and you'll be placed in line to get a beta key. The keys should go out next week.

Once you're in, start logging hours and they'll send you more keys to distribute to your friends or sell on eBay (just kidding—you'll probably get banned for that).

Excited for more Counter-Strike? There's no release date for the final game—Valve has stated that they'll use the beta to fine-tune it until the community (that's you!) thinks it's ready. The question, then, is whether you'll ever reach a consensus. Tell us what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
