Normally, joining the "mile-high club" during a flight - AKA, having secret sex in the bathroom or something - is a rather covert affair. On a Flamingo Airlines flight, however, apparently it doesn't have to be.
The Ohio-based airline is offering a travel package marketed towards people who want to get it on with their lover during a flight. Specifically, the "romantic" package, which costs $425 and will get you sixty minutes on a private plane, champagne, chocolate, and a very "discreet" pilot.
The airline says that they're the only ones who offer this deal. The idea came up during a dare between two pilots about 21 years ago.
"I have had a high heel in my ear once, been shot in the back of the head with a champagne cork, and thank God we wear headsets," pilot and co-owner of the business, Dave MacDonald, commented about his job. According to the other co-owner, Sharon McGee, the company gets as many as eight flights booked a day.
