Trailer Park: The New Wes Anderson/Bill Murray Film "Moonrise Kingdom" Looks Amazingly Weird

What did you expect?

Writer-director Wes Anderson (The Life Aquatic with Steve Zisso,The Royal TenenbaumsRushmore), has just released a new trailer for his latest project, Moonrise Kingdom. And, by the looks of the cast alone, which includes Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Francis McDormand, Tilda Swinton, and Jason Schwartzman, we're in for yet another quality film.

According toComing Soon, the film, which was co-written with Roman Coppola, "follows a young boy and girl falling in love. When they are moved to run away together, various factions of the town mobilize to search for them and the town is turned upside down – which might not be such a bad thing. Willis plays the town sheriff; Norton is cast as a camp leader; Murray and McDormand portray the young girl’s parents."

By the looks of the trailer, it's got everything we want from a Wes Anderson movie, including weird children who act like adults, Bill Murray playing a possibly drunk and apathetic father, flesh-hungry Boy Scouts and people randomly being struck by lightening. Come to think of it, that's all we could want in any film.

Anderson's new project will be in theaters May 25, 2012.
