Remember the old Nickelodeon cartoon The Rugrats? Those lovable, mischievous animated babies provided us with plenty of laughs and plenty of reasons to stock-up on contraceptives during the '90s. But for the most part, their adventures were aimed at an adolescent audience free from profanity and violence.

Well Funny or Die is aiming to taint your memories of this classic show by releasing a trailer for a fictional live-action movie that looks like something straight out of the disturbed mind of Darren Aronofsky or Danny Boyle.

Starring Arrested Development'sAlia Shawkat and Mae Whitman, along with Parenthood'sSarah Ramos, this Rugrats trailer is perhaps one of the most surreal videos the Internet will grace us with all month. We certainly don't remember murder and rape being a stable of the Rugrats television show, but, it's 2012, these kids have to grow up eventually.
