PS3 gamers looking forward to the follow-up to 2007's Warhawk won't have that much longer to wait, as Starhawk will soon enter its public beta phase. IGN's got the details: PlayStation Plus members and anyone who was in on the just-ended private beta will get in first, on Jan. 17. Anyone who got a beta code with their copy of Uncharted 3 will follow on Jan. 31, then a Sony and Gamestop Facebook promotion will release more codes on Feb. 7.
IGN themselves will have access to some more codes for lonely gamers on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14. And finally, the beta will go totally public on Feb. 21.
