In an effort to promote cleanliness on New York's subways, Transit Workers Union Local 100 has launched a reverse beauty contest to honor all of the lovely rodents that occupy the Rotten Apple's underground. Participants are asked to upload their favorite subway rat photos to Ratfreesubways.com by January 15, where users will rate pictures by their ugliness.
The prize at stake? A free monthly MetroCard, which should ease the pain of sharing the subway with tempermental rats.
