Jennifer Lopez's relationship with Casper Smart has raised a few eyebrows, mostly because she's 42-years-old and he's 24.
Smart has mostly kept quiet about the criticism, but finally took to his Twitter account earlier this morning and let his thoughts be known in a series of missives.
"Age, status, n opinions of others are irrelevant. Our hearts are endless and our souls infinite," he wrote. "Our ages are mere reminders of the hours logged on this earth and the precious time remaining. We should all honor our time here by indulging our passion and dreams. So, close your ears and open your hearts; Love and be happy!"
Doing her part, Lopez retweeted Smart's words to the 4 million plus people who follow her. That's love in the modern era.
