Sega has unveiled Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 2, presenting this teaser today on Gamespot. The trailer doesn't give us a whole to go on, but one thing is made very clear: Tails will be returning for part 2. The teaser also shows that Metal Sonic from Sonic CD will be the featured villain.
Sega Brand Manager Ken Balough, speaking with Gamespot, also explained that Episode 2 will feature a new graphics and physics engines, along with "a lot of really positive changes". Balough was quick to mention that many of these changes are based on fan feedback from the first episode of Sonic 4. The Sonic team is concentrating on retooling the controls from Episode 1 to better mimic the controls of the original Genesis trilogy.
Sonic 4: Episode 2 will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, iOS and Android in 2012.
