The wait for Half-Life 3 may seem like it will never end, and for all we know it won't. But once in a while something pops up that injects a little hope into our otherwise morose countenances. Yes, it's pathetic that we all glob onto a t-shirt like it's some sort of sign from above, but what else can we do?

Chandana Ekanayake, Art Director, Marketer and more for Monday Night Combat deveoper Uber Entertainment, tweeted the above pic last night from an undisclosed industry event, claiming he saw the shirt on a Valve employee. Realistically, it's probably just an unintentional (or maybe not) troll from said employee. We'll always have our eyes peeled for that fateful press release, but it's probably best for your mental health to not get your hopes up.

Do you think Half-Life 3 is right around the corner, or just an epic troll by Valve? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter or Facebook.
