A 39-year-old man was arrested this past Christmas morning after he tried to steal an empty Greyhound bus to visit a friend in upstate New York.

The man, Andrew Hickey of Peekskill, N.Y., boarded the bus in Syracuse while it was being refueled because he was cold and the bus was running. When on board, he drove off and headed to Watertown, a town about 70 miles north of Syracuse, where his friend lives. Pretty ballsy move!

Greyhound electronically disabled the bus two hours later and notified cops, who caught up with Hickey to arrest him.

Next time just buy a ticket, bro.
