In 2003, Microsoft hired Ricky Gervais and his writing partner to create a series of fake training videos for its employees that would show them how not to work at the company. After they were made the video series was supposedly never meant to be seen by the public. But that changed in 2004 when the videos popped up online. We're not sure why Microsoft didn't want these commercials, which had Gervais reprising his role as David Brent from The Office, to see the light of day. We're sure if these had be run on TV, they would have gotten a much better response than the Seinfeld commercials.
