Meet Donnie Riggins, a school resources officer at Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, Florida whose burning desire to be cool may have intefered with his judgement and career. On Halloween, Riggins showed up to school dressed as a doctor, topping his costume off with a wig and fake teeth. It was all fun and games until someone noticed his name badge, which read "Gynecologist, Dr. Harry Beaver."
His masquerade as a gynecologist led to an internal investigation. Even the most immature of students would think twice about pulling a stunt like that, so you'd think Riggins would know better considering his position as a role model and authority figure. He didn't, and now he's been removed from Lake Brantley.
Is it too late for med school?
