A man walked into the Alex's Mini-Market in Little Havana on Sunday, and after pretending to buy a carton of milk, sprayed the cashier with an unknown chemical. As he clutched his face, the psycho hit him in the back of the head six times with what authorities think was a small hammer. The man then stole two packs of cigarettes and peeled off on his mountain bike.

The random attack was captured by a surveillance camera, and police describe the suspect as a white man between the ages of 50 and 60, standing about 5'8" and weighing 170 lbs. A motive? Yeah right, they know there's no explanation for crazy-aside from nicotine addiction. Just beware of a dude on a mountain bike, he might just spray you. As for cashier and store owner Cen Yue Kui, he remains in extremely critical condition.

World goin' one way, people another.
