Microsoft created these "Laptop Hunter" adverts to bash Apple for its uncompetitive pricing and lack of powerful hardware. The first introduced us to an average consumer named Laura (who was discovered to be an actress) in search of a laptop on a $1,000 budget. After complaining about the Apple Store's high-priced selection, she runs over to Best Buy and purchases a Windows-based portable PC for less. Looks like Lauren was on the money—she wasn't "cool enough to be a Mac person."
