After forgoing its own native cloud music service and simply integrating music apps the likes of Spotify and MOG into its open graph, Facebook has announced that “people have shared their listening activity more than 1.5 billion times with their friends,” according to a company blog post.

In October alone, MOG saw a 246 percent increase in the number of monthly users, while Spotify added over 4 million new users. The next frontier for Facebook’s music platform is ticketing—integration with services such as Eventbrite and Ticketfly is set to take full effect soon.
