Apple's long-awaited cloud music service, iTunes Match, is finally available in BETA. The company today pushed out a new version of its iTunes software (10.5.1) which will install the service on your computer. To recap: iTunes Match will allow iTunes and iOS 5 users to store all their music in the cloud for $24.99 a year. In reality, Apple scans your computer and matches the songs on your HD with songs in its vast iTunes Music Store library. It doesn't matter if the songs were purchased from Apple, Amazon, or pilfered from MediaFire.

According to The Verge, if you sign up now, you will get three months free. However, when the BETA is over, you will have to start over from scratch.
