Today, Occupy Wall Street is organizing a drum circle that's slated to play for 24 hours outside of Mayor Bloomberg's townhouse at 17 East 79th Street. The not-so-silent protest begins at 2 p.m. today, November 21.
Here's an OWS release on the event: "Tie-dye, didgeridoo, hackeysack welcome! No shirt, no shoes, no problem! And if you don't have talent, don't worry: FREE DRUM LESSONS offered! Also on offer: collaborative drumming with the police!"
Inhale. Exhale. You know what's stupid? Drum circles. But for the first time, we have to admit we're in support of one. Oh, these are strange times.
