The Twilight Zone, Rod Serling's iconic Sci-Fi televison series is making it's way into the movies once again.

Steven Speilberg was the first to bring the macabre-laced stories to the big screen with 1983, and after much debate about who should directWarner Bros. has finally decided to give the reigns on the remake to Matt Reeves.

Bein that Reeves is the mastermind behind Let Me In and Cloverfield, we feel pretty confident about his ability to retain the delicate balance between horror and suspense that made the original series so successful. Plus, we're just glad Michael Bay won't get his over-the-top, action-inclined-hands on it.

The Twilight Zone will be produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, and is set to hit theaters in Summer 2012.
