We’re sorry but we can’t help but laugh at this story.
It appears as if the United States Air Force, specifically the Creech Air Force Base out in Nevada, is a having a little bit of a problem. Someone has infected their drone fleet with an annoying virus / malware and they are having a bit of a problem getting it removed. What makes it even better is that the malware in question is one that is usually used to steal log-in data from Mafia Wars players and other online social games.
According to the Air Force, the problem is more of a nuisance than an actual threat, but does anyone else take issue with such a common and lower-end type of virus making its way into the equipment of our national security. You mean to tell us that we can’t make it through a TSA checkpoint with a few nickels in our pocket to catch a flight to Who-gives-a-shit, Arkansas but the drone fleets that our Nation uses to protect our troops is susceptible to a damn Mafia Wars keystroke-virus?!?!
What the hell is going on in this world? On the other hand, do you think that the President or any of the military personnel playing the game could send us an Ivory cigar, we only need one to complete our Cigar loot collection. We have spare poker chips for trade if need be.
Mafia Wars: The New Threat to National Security
No, it isn't really, but it sure seems to be the Achilles' heel of our Air Force.
