In 1996, Wes Craven poked fun at genre that he helped popularize with Scream. The film was successful enough to spawn two sequels, but the franchise found itself on the shelf for the aughts. That is, until this past spring. With Scream 4, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) returns and a whole new bunch of kids get carved up on the fifteenth anniversary of Scream’s events. Sheriff Dewey Riley (David Arquette) and Gale Weathers-Riley (Courteney Cox) are back too, because it wouldn’t be a Scream movie without them.

Not only is it Movie Monday, it’s also Columbus Day. Celebrate his “discovery” of America by showing up before 7 p.m. for free beer and popcorn. For just $3, you can watch a new ghostface killer get surgical on a new doomed generation. It might even be funny.
