Android Users Can Now Separate Private and Professional Lives With AT&T App

Android users now have their own MobileMe-meets-“Find My iPhone.”

Smartphones are awesome. Yet, perhaps they’re a bit too awesome these days—the ability to store your entire life into a pocket-sized device is at once both convenient and disconcerting. After all, what happens when said device ends up left in the back of a cab?

For Android users, AT&T is now offering “Toggle,” an app that segments your home life from your work one by creating a distinct work mode, as if the device were company-issued—IT admins can manage info and apps, as well as wipe the devices clean a la “Find My iPhone.” Pricing and availability has yet to be determined.

And so, next time you lose your phone to a long night of drinking, you won’t have to suffer the ignominy of being that guy who forces the entire office to change all of their passwords.
