Each year, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences invites members of the gaming industry to the DICE Summit to discuss the current state of the industry and debate its future. The 2012 Summit is currently planned for mid-February 2012 and the lineup of guest speakers is already starting to take shape.
This morning the first 4 speakers were revealed for the upcoming event. Including in the speaking lineup will be:
- Tomonobu Itagaki of Valhalla Games Studios Co. speaking on “What We Talk About When We Talk About Games”, Ltd.
- Richard Hilleman of Electronic Arts will be speaking on “Games as Language”
- Glen Ballard of Augury will be speaking on “Greater Than The Sum: The Miracle of Collaboration”
- Isaac C. Gilmore of 3SJ Tactical Solutions, previously a non-commissioned officer in the United States Navy where he was a member of SEAL Team 7
In addition to revealing the first couple of speakers, it has also been announced that early bird registration for the Summit has started as well at the show’s official website.
