Trailer Park: Mark Wahlberg Plays A Father On A Mission In "Contraband"

There's plenty of guns, fights, and explosions in this clip.

Mark Wahlberg's latest action movie Contraband finally gets its day on the Internets. Courtesy of Yahoo! Movies, the adrenaline-induced action-packed clip has all the expected facets of a Liam Neeson revenge flick—guns, explosions, and plenty of fights. Opening in theaters on January 13, 2012, Contraband revolves around Wahlberg's Chris Farraday, a former felon turned family man who is trying to stay out of a world he worked so hard to leave behind. He is suddenly pulled back in action to fight against duct tape masked baddies (yes, you read correctly) after his brother-in-law stole from the wrong gangster.

Set in New Orleans, this remake of the Icelandic film Reykjavic-Rotterdam plans to take audiences on a ride through the cutthroat underground world of international smuggling. Kate Beckinsale and Caleb Landry Jones join Marky Mark in the cast ensemble as his wife Kate and brother-in-law Andy, respectively. The Mechanic co-star Ben Foster will play his best friend Sebastian and Giovanni Ribisi adds a sinister scowl to his repertoire as the mafia boss Tim Briggs.

Directed by Baltasar Kormákur Samper, who acted and produced the original film, directs the U.S. version. Enjoy the trailer above and share your thoughts in the comments section below.
