Trade Worthless Stuff with Friends on Steam

Show your friends that you care and strike a deal...

Have you ever wanted to just “be a nice guy”? Well, Valve’s Steam service now allows you to do just that thanks to the launch of the new trading service within the Steam community. Steam users can now trade Steam Gifts and in-game items with one another.

Whether or not you own a gifted version of a game that you haven’t activated or have earned one of the numerous (pointless) in-game items in titles such as Team Fortress 2 and Spiral Knights, you can strike up a deal and swap items with other Steam users at your leisure. All public profiles within the Steam community now include an “item inventory” which allows users to browse each others’ “giftable” belongings, so get out there and find yourself a deal.

The official rules and requirements for trading on the Steam service can be found on the official Steam Trading FAQ at Valve’s website.
