Sega’s On Demand Titles Now a Bit Cheaper

Effectively immediately, you don't have to feel as ripped off as you used to when buying digital on Xbox Live.

One would think that if you were buying a digital title off of the Xbox Live Marketplace as opposed to buying the retail version, you might be inclined to receive some sort of discount. That hasn’t been the case; you end up paying the same amount of money and end up getting less as you have no physical product or belonging(s) to account for. Sega has taken notice and officially dropped the prices of many of its titles on the Xbox Live Marketplace’s Games on Demand Service.

The following games received permanent price drops to $19.99 on the service this week:

  • Alien vs. Predator
  • Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing
  • Vanquish
  • Virtua Tennis 2009

The new price point sets them a little lower than the average price they can be found for in retail stores. Now it seems like you are getting a deal.
