Though up until now the word has been that the death of Russell Armstrong, former husband of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong, was a suicide, Armstrong's family is now claiming to TMZ that they believe he was murdered.
This comes on the heels of the L.A. County Coroner's toxicology report, which stated that Armstrong had no drugs in his system and ruled his death as a suicide by hanging. Also, according to TMZ, Taylor Armstrong fully agrees with this evidence and believes that Russell did kill himself.
His family, however, isn't buying it, and they're going to hire a private investigator onto the case to get a second opinion. Their theory is that he got involved with the wrong people due to money problems, and perhaps "screwed someone over out of desperation" which forced that person to "retaliate by killing him."
