Nintendo Unleashes Free Four Swords Anniversary Game

What's better than a free game? How about a free game that is actually really (really) good?

None

Nintendo 3DS and DSi owners are in for a treat today as Nintendo has released an updated version of the classic Four Swords game, dubbed Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition. The game is available worldwide, free of charge, via Nintendo’s eShop and DSiWare digital stores. It will remain available until February 20, 2012.

Hopefully the game has held up after all of these years because we have fond memories of the original version being a lot of fun. The new version features a variety of upgrades including a couple of new stages, a single-player adventure, and full wireless multiplayer support. Plus, getting something for free is always a good thing, especially for Nintendo fans who have been getting the short end of the stick recently (cough, 3DS as a whole, cough).

What are you waiting for? Go get your free game!
