Earlier today, at the 3DS conference in Japan, Nintendo announced that Kid Icarus Uprising would not be released until 2012. Pit's next adventure was originally supposed to be a 3DS launch title, but massive delays are putting it's release almost a full year behind schedule. Hopefully, the extra time pays off and fans are treated to a well-polished sequel when it finally does release.
Other big titles slated for 2012 include: Mario Tennis, Luigi's Mansion 2, Paper Mario, and Animal Crossing. For those of you who can't wait that long, Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 now have U.S. release dates of November 12 and December 4 respectively.
