If you're looking for a worthy tribute to the glory that once was the World Trade Center on the 10th anniversary of the tragedy, look no further than filmmaker Dan Meth's movie montage of the Twin Towers.

Meth's montage is a superbly edited, small scale masterpiece that does a terrific job of conjuring up the complicated feelings most Americans, and especially New Yorkers, have towards the two fallen towers. Opposing feelings of pride and regret, accomplishment and loss are revived with clips from classic movies that expertly cut from one image of the WTC after another, each successive image more hauntingly beautiful than the last.

With images from nearly every movie featuring the Twin Towers from 1969-2001, Meth's montage is both a personal and uniquely sentimental way to remember what we lost this weekend.
