The Avengers assembled in Anaheim yesterday to give fans a taste of what to expect from their mighty adventure. A star-studded cast consisting of Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Cobie Smulders (S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill), and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) participated in the D23 Expo and presented footage that debuted two brand-new action scenes.

The clip finds Hawkeye and Black Widow talking to The Hollywood Reporter about what they learned from one another on the set, details about vehicles, and fight scenes. We want to know how hard it was for Johansson to get out of her skin-tight costume! "Can I get out of my own catsuit? I don't know... I feel like that's sharing a lot of information. I'm incredibly flexible," she tells OnTheRedCarpet. That sounds like music to our ears. If only there was a video to go with it.

This marvelous dynamic duo explains that their physical challenges have left an indeliable mark which will be hard not to forget. "We're still broken," Johansson jokes. "I'll be having these injuries for years." For those, who like us, were not able to attend the Expo, missed the two new explosive clips that were shown to those in attendance. SPOILER ALERT: If you have an itch to find out what you missed, Cinema Blend has the scoop.

The Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon, will swing into action on May 4, 2012.
