The Lincoln Lawyer was one of the more underrated gems in the spring wasteland of bad movies, and now it appears ABC is hoping to bring it to televisions on a weekly basis. The network has ordered a script from Lionsgate with the hopes of making Lawyer into a new series.

Lincoln Lawyer screenwriters John Romano and Michael Connelly, who wrote the source novel, will co-write the pilot script. It's doubtful star Matthew McConaughey will return, meaning your fantasy casting for this potentially not-even-happening series can begin now. Here's one: Lone Star's Josh Wolk in the lead role.
