Network: CBS
Stars: Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Taraji P. Henson
Premiere Date: September 22
Why we’re excited: The team behind CBS’ buzz-worthy Person Of Interest couldn’t be much stronger: J.J. Abrams and his Bad Robot production crew (the gang behind Alias, Lost, Fringe) have joined forces with Jonathan Nolan, brother of blockbuster director Christopher Nolan and co-writer of The Dark Knight. Or, we can put it another way: the guys behind Lost’s mind-bending narrative and the intellectual who dreamed up Christopher Nolan’s breakthrough brain-fuck Memento. Keep the aspirin handy.

Created by Nolan, Person Of Interest appears to be a hybrid of Minority Report and, yes, Fringe. Michael Emerson (Lost’s Benjamin Linus) plays a rich guy who, after conceiving a program that identifies criminals before crimes happen, teams up with CIA veteran (Jim Caviezel) to prevent illegal activities; oh, and the latter is thought to be deceased.

Since it’s a J.J. Abrams production, we’re surprised we even know that much.
