11. Add Your Own Subtitles

You don't need to make a foreign film to want to add your own subtitles to your project. Maybe you've shot a flick starting OJ Da Juiceman and you want to make sure everyone understands his verbal ferocity. Whatever the reason, here's how you do it. 

  • Hightlight the clips the subtitles will be going onto.
  • Click the Titles button found on the right of the central bar. This will bring up a menu of text options allowing you to place the text anywhere on the screen. Pick which one you prefer.
  • Drag the one you want to your timeline and place it ontop of the desired clip.
  • Type what you want the subtitle to say.
