This past weekend, GREY GOOSE invited Complex and a host of other beautiful people out to a secluded private estate in East Hampton for the inaugural GREY GOOSE Blue Door Series, a weekend of events featuring everything from fancy D.I.Y. cocktails to ping pong with our dream boo Susan Sarandon.
The weekend kicked off early on Thursday night (August 4), where guests were welcomed with a unique "Epicurean Adventure" featuring Top Chef alum Cynthia Sestito, who put together a delicious picnic filled with locally-sourced vegetables, meats, and cheeses. Meanwhile, GREY GOOSE Master Mixologist Nick Mautone made the rounds and gave guests advice on their personalized cocktails. We even learned how to muddle!
On Friday night (August 5), the crew from SPiN (including creators Franck Raharinosy, Jonathan Bricklin and the always-lovely Susan Sarandon) invaded the estate for a table tennis competition. Sarandon showed off her paddle skills, while DJ Jesse Marco provided the night's score. After facing off against SPiN's team of ping-pong pros, the lucky winner went home with two tickets to the US Open Championships in Queens.
Saturday night (August 6) saw a performance by singer-songwriter Jake Troth, one of Grey Goose's "Rising Icons." In past years, artists like Kid Cudi and The-Dream have been bestowed with the "Rising Icon" title, so all eyes were on the newcomer. Jake kicked his Gucci loafers off and performed barefoot in front of the festive crowd, running through songs like "Material Things," his ode to ballin' that felt like the perfect soundtrack to this lavish weekend.
The Blue Door Series will continue with pop-up events across the nation, with the next installment rumored to hit Chicago some time this fall.
