When Ricky Gervais creates a comedy that features real-life celebrities, you sit up and take notice (Extras, hello!), so take notice: Johnny Depp and Steve Carell will reportedly be among the guest stars that appear on Life's Too Short, a new BBC comedy that Gervais created for star Warwick Davis.
The diminutive Davis will play the angry owner of a talent agency for dwarves, with Gervais and Stephen Merchant playing themselves, along with cameos from Depp, Carell, Liam Neeson and Helena Bonham Carter.
The series is set to air on the BBC this year, with a run on HBO to follow.
