Over at BGR, new evidence has been uncovered that Apple is working on a 4G iPhone. While it's not clear which iPhone, if any, will ship supporting the super-fast data network, code indicating such support was found buried in an iOS build used by a major carrier for testing.

4G has been criticized for being a massive drain on the battery life of current gen cell phones, which is part of the reason that Apple has not been expected to support the technology in the next iPhone. Here's hoping Cupertino's testing bears fruit sometime soon.
