Arthouse Alert: Catch "Beavis and Butt-Head Do America" In Philly Monday (8/22)

The animated classic in all its glory.

None

In 1992, Mike Judge and MTV introduced us to two idiot couch potatoes. Those idiot couch potatoes, known affectionately as Beavis and Butt-Head, gained one hell of a following during the ‘90’s. By 1996, the series had become popular enough to yield a feature film; the appropriately titled Beavis and Butt-Head Do America. A search for their stolen TV takes the dim-witted duo across the country, where they encounter characters voiced by Bruce Willis, Demi Moore and Cloris Leachman.

As usual, the show begins at 8 p.m., but plan to arrive before 7 for a free beer and a bag of popcorn. If you were old enough to remember the glory days of Beavis and Butt-Head during the ‘90’s, view this as a trip down memory lane. If you’re unfamiliar, take this opportunity to learn about two of MTV’s favorite idiots. Either way, get used to hearing about them, because they’ll be back later this year……
