The wait is almost over.
Samsung has announced a media event on August 29, where its new line of Galaxy S superphones will finally come to America. A modified version of the international model, which has been a major seller overseas, is expected to be sold by each of the four major US carriers, including T-Mobile, Verizon, At&t and Sprint.
